There is an Abner Munger listed as a son of Joseph Munger, in 'The Munger Book'.He was born in Conn. abt 1732.His children listed are Joseph, born in Stillwater, N.Y., 1754 and Bouton.
It says:
From what little information we are able to obtain from the Mungers of Orwell, VT., we believe that the family at that place are descended from Abner Munger.Mrs. Franklin A. Munger stated that Joseph Munger was b. at Stillwater, N.Y.,and that he "Come over to Orwell" with his family, where he died Mar. 30, 1803,ae. 49 years.Mrs. Munger further states that Hannah, his wife, died at Orwell, Nov 21, 1837, in her 81st yr.Others of this family state that Joseph and Bouton Munger were brothers. The name of Joseph Munger appears on church records at Stillwater, N.Y., in 1790.The name Bouton Munger is found as a soldier of the Revolution, in connection with others of the mane, living in the vicinity of Stillwater, Bemis Heights, and Saratoga.
I hope this will be of some help to you.
