What little is known about Joseph Munger is that he lived in and around Bemis Heights, stillwater in Saratoga County. We know Stillwater and Bemis Heights could be and has been considered one and the same they are both around or on the Saratoga Battle field. From Bemis Heights you can see most of Saratoga Battle Field.
Joseph Munger had a Bother named Bouton Munger who we know was a soldier of the revolution. Ther father was Abner Munger.
Joseph was born in Stillwater around 1754 he moved his family to Orwell, Vt. Around 1775 Joseph was a Famer.
