Can you tell me if there is any relation/connection to Joseph H. Mumford born Jan 1858 or Josiah T. Munford born 1847? I know there is a discrepancy in the spelling of the last name but this is not uncommon in this period. The 1900 IOW census list Joseph H. Mumford as a border in the household of Margarett Wyatt. His birth as Jan. 1858. Earlier, 1896 Francis Wyatt is shown marrying Josiah T. Munford. I'm seeing some issues here with dates that don't seem to jive.
