Looking for descendants of Walter B Mundorff, born Mar 1879 in Kansas, son of Jacob B Mundorff and Sophia Ammon. His family moved to California before 1900. He married Grace E. <unknown> shortly before 1929 in Los Angeles. They remained in Los Angeles, Cal after their marriage. Walter died there on 21 Jan 1939. Grace died there on 27 Dec 1965.
Walter and Grace were living at 4606 S Normandie Ave from about 1937 until Walter died. Grace was still living there as late as 1942. I do not know of their children.
Grace worked at Bullocks furniture store from at as early as 1935. Walter was a salesman. In his earlier years he worked/owned at a Cigar store.
His siblings were Lillie Delilah (md to William Sherman Paul and died in Medford Oregon in 1953), Isaac Harry (died in LA in 1952, apparently unmarried) and Ida May (may have been married for a short time to a Wilber Larch, died in LA in 1942. She went by Mundorff all her later life until her death).
I am hoping to find a descendant of Walter, who might know of Sophia Ammon's nativity, as Lillie's descendants do know know much about her.
