Joseph Mundell in Nova Scotia, Canada 1780-1860

Searching for info on Joseph Mundell b. abt 1780 & d. 1860 in Nova Scotia. Wife and children's names unknown but he is said to have served in the British Navy with Lord Nelson at Trafalgar He immigrated to Halifax, Nova Scotia abt. 1806 where he was a merchant and operated a store at the corner of Granville and Duke Streets. Later moved to Arichat, Nova Scotia and subsequently to Sand Point, Guysborough Co., Nova Scotia. His grandson was Henry Mundell b. 8 Dec 1851 in Nova Scotia & d. 1936 in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. Henry's mother was Margaret P. Mundell (maiden name unknown) b. 30 May 1825 also in NS & d. aft 1881 Census. Henry is found in the 1881 & 1901 census of Guysborough District (Milford) and Margaret is found in the 1851 and 1881 Guysborough District Census. Also found in the same household in the 1881 census are Joseph b. 1844 (Light-housekeeper), Henry b. 1851, John b. 1853, James b. 1856, Edward b. 1858, Elizabeth b. 1860, Clementia b. 1862. There is also a Jane Mundell b. 1848 who married David Alexander Martin. Does anyone have info on the ancestors of this Mundell family.
