Trying to find family of Eliza Jane Mimford of England, county unknown(may be a Devonport connection) She was supposedly born August, 1846, supposedly in Eaton, England. There are so many towns with Eaton in the name, that I don't know which one applies. Eaton may be the port area she sailed from. Her parents were John and Mary Mumford. Eliza came to the U S between 1861-1869. She married a Josiah Warne(he born Gunnislake, Calstock, Cornwall in 1846 parents John Warne and Elizabeth Harris Warne) in Manhattan, New York in 1869. The couple is listed as living in PA at the time of their marriage. The family lived for awhile in the New York area, moved back to PA, then settled in Mineral Point, Ohio, Tuscarawas County. Would appreciate info about Eliza's living in England.
