Hello Casey & Tim,
I am Mary Mumford, currently living in Pitt County, NC. I am married to Mac Mumford, Jr. Mac is the son of Mac Mumford, Sr. Mac Sr. is son of Orvis Watson & Agnes Melissa McLawhorn Mumford. Orvis was one of Quincy's (Lawrence Quincy) many brothers. Orvis was the son of Jacob E. & Emma Louvenia Stocks Mumford. They are buried in the Mumford family cemetery located at Hanrahan (small crossroad near Ayden). From what I can find Jacob was the son of William and Serenia (Cerena) Smith Mumford.
The Pitt County Courthouse burned many years ago and most of the records were lost.
