Southern Genealogy: David S. Sells first wife was Nancy Ellen Helms, Nancy d/o William Moses Helms and Louisa Elizabeth Mullis, 1828-1890. William Moses was s/o Gabriel W. Helms and Rhoda Williams Louisa d/o William Mullis and Nancy Quinn. Louisa stayed behind in NC when her folks and family went to GA because she had a sweetie! William Moses had a sister, Edith Helms, born 1831, died 1916. Edith Married John Pusser, 1818-1887 in NC. They later moved to GA along with two of his brothers. John Pusser was brother of my GG-grandfather, Hugh Pusser. John Pusser and Edith Helms are the GG-grandparents of Buford "Walking Tall" Pusser of McNairy County, TN
