MULLIS, Sarah H & Lillie

parents were Sherrod (or Sherwood) & Alice Mullis. Dates of birth....Sarah: 1876; & Lillie: 1878. They appear in the 1880 NC census/ Union Co./New Salem.

Their father was killed, I believe, in 1881 & their mother remarried, but they don't show up in later census with her & her new family (2nd husband: David S. Sells).

I would appreciate any help in solving this mystery.
