Lena Ocie Goins Mullins, 74, of Morristown, TN, died
Thursday, July 23, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital in
Knoxville, TN.
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Born June 30, 1935, in Wilco, WVA, she was a daughter of
the late Alexander and Maggie Alice Goins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters;
and four brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Everett Mullins
Sr.; a son, Everett Mullins Jr.; two daughters and a son-
in-law, Elizabeth Mullins and Alice Marie and Daniel Hayes;
three grandsons, David Binkley Jr., Robert Binkley, and
James Everett Mullins; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruby
and Bill Bonnell of Rock Falls, IL; a sister-in-law,
Loretta Mullins of Wytheville, VA; and several nieces and
nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.,
Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Westside Chapel Funeral Home in
Morristown, TN.
The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon, at
3 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor David Sumner
will officiate.
Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
