I found a message posted in the Riffe GenForum by Delores Mullings-Hill in 1998.
Delores listed a Riffe family that I know is the family I am looking for. N. B. Riffe married Martha Strickland in Clark Co AR in 1872:
Clark County AR Marriage Book 7, page 93, Jan. 28, 1872 Martha Stricklin m. N. B. Reefe (Riffe)
Martha Strickland/Stricklin was the daughter of Cullen Strickland and Eliza Porter Strickland. Martha was born in Arkansas about 1852.
I am interested in any information on this family.
