Hi, I think that we have talked before because your name is in my address list. I can't say for sure what we had talked about, but more than likely it was about the Mullinex line.
Walter had five brothers and sisters. The info I have is that he was born 24 Nov,1889 in Mitchellsburg, Boyle Co., Ky. His brothers and sisters were; Martha (married unk Smock), Mary Dorcus (married unk Smock), Susie Palmer (married unk Young), Claud Boyed (married Nillie unk), and my grand mother Maude Christine ( married William Louiw Adams) (Claud and Maude were twins born 5 Sept,1899)
My Dad remembers 'Uncle Walter and Aunt Eva' and four children-- Richard, who may have been Eva's from another marriage, Carl who had asthma, Dorothy and Mary Lee. Dad stated that Walter was a heavy equipment operator. He doesn't remember when they left Cincinnati, Ohio-- just that they were gone. However he is pretty sure that Eva went to Calif with him.
Dad does remember that Mary Lee had married a guy named George- don't know the spelling but it sounds like- Knee neighbor, and that they stayed in the Cin. O. area.
( It appears that Walter was living in the Cin. area as early as 1916 because Claud and Maude were living with him. Story has it the William met Maude thru Walter. They were married in 1916 and moved to Bromley KY. Claud joined the Army in 1917, he gave his address as 1116 W. 8th St. Cin O.)
This is all of the info that I have on Walter, in fact that is just about all the info I have on the Mullinex line. I have been having a hard time with this line--maybe I haven't been looking in the right places. Would you have any info on the parents-- Nimrod Mullinex and Mary Walson?
Hope this helps.
