Addison is a family name, probably the last name of a female who married into the Mullikin family. My great grandfather was Thomas Marian Mullikin, born 1854 Caroline County. He had a brother, James Addison Mullikin, born July 1, 1856, married Mollie Elmira Wilson, and farmed in Caroline Co. He had 3 sons:
1. James Alonzo Mullikin, b. 24 Nov 1883, d. 15 May 1955
2. Robert Orville Mullikin, b. 21 Jan 1879, d. 2 Mar 1950
3. Tarleton DeRochbrune Mullikin, b. 10 Apr 1887, d. 5 Jan 1958.

Father of James Addison Mullikin was John Mullikin (1819-1864) who married Sarah Ann Deroachbrune.

Could your Addison Eugene be the son of one of the 3 sons mentioned above? Addison is a good clue.
