I think it's definitely possible that yours is a Mullican or Mullikin -- all of our lines are spelled every which way until at least the 20th century! And I would expect to find Mullicans and Mullikins around Guildford Co NC, because some families with whom they intermarried were there for a period of time: (Taylors and Rawlings/Rawlins/Rollins, and maybe some Winnifords, if I recall). Many families apparently moved from Newcastle, PA/DE to Guildford; some related families and non-related families also moved to Guildford from the Bedford/Franklin/Augusta Co area of VA. Many of them were apparently Baptists or Quakers, and may have been seeking a higher degree of religious freedom than they were enjoying in VA. I'll keep an eye out for your Mullikin/Millican.
