I've read about 2/3 of all the messages on this board. I've not found who I'm looking for. I sent the message below to Harvey, but wanted to see if anyone else had any info. I have been looking for information regarding a Jemima Mullikin. She was born in 1773 and died about 1850. She married Williams Jacobs, Sr. on June 14, 1792 in Fredricks, VA Their marriage "bond" was signed by her mother, Elizabeth. She and William had 9 children: Nancy b. June 27, 1793 Suzanne b. 2-16-1796 Elizabeth b 7-17-1799 William b. 3-16-1801 Price 4-16-1803 m. Mary C. Wiseheart 12-29-1885 They have several children including an Ellen and a James Henry. Mary Polley - 4-22-1806 Jemima 7-24-1809 d. 4-23-1875 m. Harmon Wiseheart in Jefferson Co., KY Samual Lucinda 6-9-1816 Harvy's post on this board mentioned distant cousins named James Mullikin who married Elizabeth Ellen. I wonder if that is Jemima's mother and father? There was great speculation at one time (around 1920s) that our line came from James Mulligan, the Rev. War hero. I have his Will and he does not mention Jemima. He does mention a Burton and several other children and one grandchild. I have the Wiseheart line (most of it) online at: http://breakfree2day.com/familytree/Huber/Henrich_WISEHEART/Descendants_of_Henrich_Wiseheart.htm My line is from Harmon Wiseheart and Jemima Wiseheart Any help would be appreciated. My gg grandfather's brother's son, Sandford has been researching the Wiseheart and Mullikin family for about 20 years also. I just called him this week asking if he knew who Jemima's father was. He told me he's been trying to figure that one out for years. Thanks Teresa
