Champaign-Urbana Courier, Tuesday, Nov 18, 1947: Funeral services for THOMAS E. MULLIGAN, 87, 405 West Green Street, Champaign, who died late Monday in the Cole Convalescent hospital, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Holy Cross Church with Rev. Fr. C.J. Higgins officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Tolono. Retired farmer and Champaign resident for 40 years, he was born May 15, 1860, in Tolono, the son of PETER and MARGARET MULLIGAN. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Mrs. H.B. NOONAN, and three grandchildren. The body will remain at his home until the funeral. Owens funeral home is in charge.
