Not exactly what you were enquiring about, but my great, great, great grandfather emigrated from Ballyhaise, County Cavan circa 1821 and lived in Carp where he donated the Mulligan Schoolhouse and a parcel of land. His family moved northwards ending up in Kazabazua, where my father lived with his family, Thomas Henry Mulligan & Dorothy (Joynt). I was born and live in UK. I have, thanks to assiduous, hard-working cousins in Canada, a great deal of info about that branch of the Mulligans, which may or may not be related to you/yours.
