One family member believes Ellen and husband lived in New Jersey. I found Henry and Ellen Muller in the federal censuses and Ellen claims to have emigrated in 1859. That fits Ellen Hart's profile perfectly. Plus, they named their eldest daughter "Anne" and that was the name of Ellen Hart's mother. Henry and Ellen are in Jersey City from 1880 onward, but I cannot find them in New York in 1870. If you have Ancestry.com, would you be willing to do a lookup for me?
