Anthony Mullan(e)y c1841 married Julia Flynn c1843. Im presuming they married but in 1901 census she is noted as Julia Flynn. They had the following children:

Charles 1864
John 1866
Anthony 1867
Patrick 1868
Henry 1870
Hugh 1872
James 1875
Mary Agnes 1881
There may be others...

1901 census: Carranduff, Killala Bay, Sligo
-Anthony Mullany 60 Farmer
-Julia Flynn 58 Wife
-Mary Agnes 20 dau
-Anthony 29 son
-Mary Anne 5 niece born Scotland

Carranduff, I'm told, is on the Sligo/Mayo border. As I have found nothing on this family in Sligo, I've moved my search to Mayo. Incidentally, all children were born in Castleconnor. I've also been told that some of the sons went to America in the late 1800s. I dont think Anthony did as he's on the 1901 Sligo census. James didn't as he went to Scotland, possibly with his brother John. This leaves Charles, Patrick, Henry and Hugh. At least a couple of them died in a war there. Would anyone know which war this could be? Does anyone recognise anything?
Thanks for your time
