No, I'm in a small lancashire town in England called Haslingden, Lancashire had the highest number of Mullaneys in Great Britain. Mullaneys originate from Connaught the counties of Roscommon, Sligo, Mayo, Boyle in Roscommon is the modern centre for Mullaney territory, been to four Clan gatherings in Boyle. By 1850 the name is found in 18 of the 32 irish counties. Not a very common name but when you get digging around there are certainly plenty about, USA, Gt. Britain, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Found over 100 variant spellings for the name, and a coat of arms. In 1659 it was the most common name in north roscommon.
