Our family has some connection to John Mullan but I have not been able to find the connection. One family member stated that John was a brother to Matilda, my Great great Grandmother, and to her other brother George. George had 5 children, Charles, Matilda Jr, Catherine, Ann Rachel and Elizabeth. However this same family member stated that he also had a son Peter who was a half brother to the rest. I am thinking that maybe John sent Peter to be raised by George, at least for awhile. Peter it is said had asthma and left George's in Quebec and came west for his health. It was thought that Peter settled somewhere in Alberta. Do you know if your Peter ever lived in Alberta. What other information do you have on him?
