Hello I am a very new internet user who hopes to be able to trace my family Mullan. From Dundalk Republic of Ireland my grand father John Mullan born 25th July 1885? and his father a borough Engineer called Patrick Mullan. My grand father came to England in about 1906/1908 and married Nellie Cottriall in Manchester England on his 25th birthday. I have been unable to trace any brothers or sisters so far as my grand father John Mullan died in 1918 when my father John Joseph Mullan was 4 years old and no-one seems to know when John Mullan came over to England alone from Ireland or whether the family came over together or whether or not they were from England or Scotland orginally.

This is just a short in the dark as I have just moved and become an internet user and cannot at this moment find all my family papers.

If I am way off-beam I am sorry but if any of this is frelevant please let me know.

Thanks for your time.

Lainey Mullan
