We know that he came from County Longford in Ireland, but haven't been able to match him up with any of the Mullally's there yet.

His obituary from 1920 and a history of Alma, NE say that he came to the US as a lad of 14, which would be ca. 1850, but I haven't checked the immigration info for him in 1900 census to verify this yet.
