In Reply to: Re: MULL FAMILY HISTORY by Charles T. Miller of 704

I have been looking for information on this Mull, too. He married Paulina Kilpatrick, the daughter of Ebenezer Kilpatrick of Hudsonville MS, near Holley Springs. They
had three kids, Harriet P. Mull and Christina Mull, and Thomas Mull. The kids were minors, and older than 14 years old when they chose their uncle, Elihu Branch Kilpatrick as their guardian in January of 1858. I do not know when or of what their parents, Thomas and Paulina, died. Do you have any information on them? When and where did they marry, etc?

Elihu B. Kilpatrick is my gggrandfather. I was researching this family when I saw the above information in the Probate Records in Holley Springs.

Thomas, the son, enlisted in the 17th Regiment MS Volunteer Infantry Company G ("Confederate Guards") at age 17. Co.G was mustered into state service at Holly Springs on April 22, 1861. Records show he was single, and a farmer.

I am not sure, but I believe he was wounded at Gettysburg.

I have seen references to a Thomas Mull that he served in the Mississippi state legislature, but I don't know if it was the father or the son.

Whatever happened to him and the family?
