Daniel Mulhair was my Great Great Grandfather. My Great Grandfather was Charles Mulhair who was married to Velma Ambercrombie.Back in the early 1980s I was given a Mulhair Family Record by Ada May Mulhair-Moffett whose father was Frank Mulhair born 1868 in Boscabel, WI.
Most of the dates posted were close to what Ada had given me except she said that Daniel was born in 1825 and died in 1879.She also said his wife's name was Ann (Cullen). The had fourteen children but only had records on ten.
Ann Cullen-Mulhair is buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Lynch, NE.Ada's information said Daniel was buried in Black Earth, WI.I did some research in the early 1980s and found prison records in Wisconsin for Daniel Mulhair after he was supposed to have died.I am pretty sure it Daniel, SR since Daniel, JR was suppose to be in South Dakota in 1878.He was convicted of larceny of a horse on December 23, 1880 and got out November 2, 1882.I have the trial papers that was on microfilm form Wisconsin.
At the time I was researching Monica Mulhair-Langrock whose grandfather was Daniel, Jr. was also doing a lot of research and sent me several things. She was going out to Wisconsin and check to see if she could find where Daniel, Sr. was buried but I never heard anything from her.She had information that there were seventeen children of which ten grew to maturity.
