Researching my GG-Grandmother:
Susan MULDOON - b. in Belfast, Ireland, c. 1834. She married Michael SLOANE c. 1854 in Belfast. Michael SLOANE was b. c1830 in Durham County, England and apparently moved to Ireland by 1854. My G-Grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth SLOANE was born August 1855 in Belfast. Family records indicate she was christened in Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England in May 1861. No record of Michael and Susan after that date.

Sarah SLOANE married Francis McCLARENCE c. 1874 and in 1881 Brandon and Byshottles Census in Durham County, England, was living with husband and thier first 3 children on Miners Row in Willington, Durham, England. They emigrated to Illinois, USA, between April 1861 and September 1863.

Would like to connect with anyone researching these names and family lines. Thank you!

Diane
