I saw these photos for sale on Ebay:
PHOTO - JOHN & ELIZABETH (MOORE) MUIR Family - Rockford, Kent Co., Michigan (c.1900)
There is an obit with the photos that says John was born in 1847 in Glasgow Scotland (a little research shows parents were William and Catherine (Campbell) Muir. John came to Canada with his mother was bound to a shoemaker for 5 years and shortly afterward his mother returned to Scotland.
I'm not the seller, just thought someone might be interested.
