26 April 1945, Thursday, The Monroe Evening News, Monroe, Monroe County, Michigan
THOMAS C. MUIR
THOMAS c. MUIR, 90, died yes-
terday morning in his residence on
the Minx road, LaSalle, the same
house in which he was born Jan-
uary 1, 1855. He had never mar-
ried and had been in ill health for
several years. He was a farmer.
Surviving him are two nieces,
Mrs. Fred and Mrs. Margaret
Osborne, both of Toledo; two
nephews, Laurel and Earl Soper
of Monroe. Children of his de-
ceased nephew, Charles Soper, are
Mrs. Wilma Klein of Detroit, Ric-
ard and Paul Soper, both in the
Navy serving in the Pacific.
The body is at the Farham fu-
neral home at Temperance where
services will be held Saturday at
2 p.m. The Rev. Gordon D. Ev-
erett will officiate and burial will
be in Erie Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Earl and
Laurel Soper, Karl Klein, Fred
Rack, James, Fleitz and Frank
Wendells.
