I have looked through my material (the Arp book) and have not found a Trien Schneekloth marrying a Hans Hinrich Muhs. You did not give me any dates, but I have searched pretty thoroughly. My material is far from exhaustive; it deals only with Muhs lines back into Germany whose descendants emigrated to the U.S., and not necessarily all of those. Your names, both first (Trien [often Trin]) and Schneekloth are consistent with origin in the Probstei region, where several families lived and intermarried over and over for about 500-600 years. Arp does have a good deal of description of the living conditions and lifestyle of Probsteiers, which you may find interesting.
