Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum

Well, I'm a little late in replying, since I just got started researching my family history, but we are related somehow, Pat! Mary Elizabeth Mugg-Keithley was my ggg-grandmother, through her daughter Effie, Effie's daughter Catherine, Catherine's daughter Beverly, and Beverly's son Louis. I'm Louis' daughter. I thought I'd reply here, anyway, to see if you have found anything in the 10 years since you posted this, and if I could tap into your resources. I've found several tidbits myself after a visit to the Historical Society over in the old Tudor Hall building in Leonardtown. Ironically, I lived in St. Mary's County all my life and never knew I had some very old roots there! Please feel free to contact me to share info, if you're still digging into those Mugg roots! I have photos from Mary and Richard Keithley's gravesite at Congressional Cemetery in Washington DC, and I have a photo of her daughter Effie, as well.
