Muellers from Eastern Iowa 1900-1990 or Breitenlohe/Unterneses Germany

I'm looking for information for Mullers/Muellers who lived in Dubuque County, Iowa from ~1900-1990 and/or born in or immigrated from Breitenlohe or Unterneses Germany.

My Great Uncle George Muller (1908-1982) was born in Brieitenlohe, and listed these siblings in his obituary: Gretchen, Jack, Jos(eph), Margaret, Katherine (1902-1987), and John (1904-1966). John is my grandfather and I can't seem to find any information on when he immigrated. My Dad says his dad John & Uncle George were brought over by their Aunt Kondanga (see below) and they worked for her in the U.S. to re-pay their passage.

A census form seems to indicate that George's parents were George (b.1850) and Augustine Erlan(sp?). George had a sister named Kondanaga/Kunigunda (1877-1950). Kondanga listed her parents as Andrew Miller and Katre Giel, although I'm not convinced that's accurate as Kondanga married Joseph Giel. Kondanaga's obituary indicates she was born in Unterneses Germany.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. It'd be great to find distant relatives in Germany. You can contact me direct at jmueller21 at cfl dot rr dot com.
