Thank you very much! Grt. Aunts Clara and Elsie were my Grt. Grandmother Alma HAEHNER MARTIN's sisters. I remember them very well.

Grandma Martin was married to a gem of a man named Thomas MARTIN. They never had any children together.

But Grandma had a daughter, Dorothy/Dolly WILSON allegedly by a marriage that no one knew much about. She was born abt. 1915. Found her (Dorothy) listed on a census ( 1920) one time as a 4 1/2 child living with them, MARTIN's, as a boarder in Ohio, Summit Co. She was listed as being born in New York as were her parents.

Dorothy WILSON MARTIN married Robert James LAMPE allegedly in West Virginia. I cannot find that proof either. My Uncle was born abt. 1931 and Mom in 1934.

Dorothy/Dolly was supposed to be Grandma Alma H. Martin's biological daughter. Now I have my doubts. Or just maybe a lot of scandal was avoided. World War I was going on and maybe a young man going off to war and Grandma ....

I knew this side was going to be difficult and probably unable to ever trace.

Thank you again for all your help and info. on the MUELLER/ HAEHNER side from Chicago. I wonder what made the entire family up and leave Chicago to go to Ohio and Akron/ Cleveland areas?

Thank you again especially when you mention this was not part of your family.
