Do you know if George Mueller was a violinist?
I don't know if this is the same family or not, but my gg-grandma Louisa Mueller (b.1854) was daughter of Frederick Mueller (b1818)& Erestine Wolf from Goellingen, Thuringia, Prussia. When her family came to the USA in 1870 it was said they were met by an "uncle" (relative)named George in NY, that then moved to StLouis before they did the following year (after leaving Chicago in the great fire).
My grandma says that it is also told that Louisa had an uncle that was such an accomplished violinist that he once played for the Russian Tsar. Could this be the Same George you are looking for?
