My ancestor, Ivan Pericic came to the US from Novi about 1909. His father was Vinko Pericic of Zagona. Ivan had a sister, Genoveva, who remained in Croatia. Ivan's first wife (in Croatia) was Anica Jovanovic. Ivan was born 20 Jun 1878. I have a photocopy of his passport. Ivan lived in West Mineral, KS and Lehigh, OK. He died about 1916, but we don't know where.

Ivan's daughters came to use the name Pierce rather than Pericic. Ivan's son, Gregory (born in Croatia) used Periski.

St. Louis, MO, was home to several Pericic males in 1910. They were stone masons. I have wondered if they were connected my ancestor.
