I came across your posting and believe we may be related. You said your grandfather Humphry George Roberts was born in St. Agnes, Cornwall and died in Butte, Montana in 1907. If he was born in 1862 to John Roberts (b. 1832) and wife Fanny, then we are cousins. John Roberts had a brother, William (b. 1833), who had two sons, William (b. 1861) and Charles (b. 1862), all born in St. Agnes. Both sons came to the U.S. in the 1880s and eventually settled in Butte. William died there in 1921. Charles died there in 1907. Charles was my grandfather. I'd enjoy hearing from you.
