I'm looking for ancestors and family of Isadore/Isidor Strasburger(also Stranburger/Strasberger). He was a pioneer of Butte and arrived in MT in 1863 as part of the Kiscadian (Kiscandian? Cascadian?) Party.
b. March 16, 1839
d.February 13, 1905

m. Rachel Cohen - August 01, 1867 - Of SLC, UT
b. February 01, 1850 (New Orleans, LA)
d.June 22, 1908
Nettie, Edgar, Herman, Rodman, Eva (I do have some info on these children and descendants to share)

1899 Montana Pioneer Society Index
ISADOR STRASBURGER, son of N.J. and R. Strasburger; born in Poland, March 16th, 1839. Came to the United States in 1857. and to Denver, Colorado, in 1859. Place of departure for Montana, Denver, Colorado, April 4th, 1863; route traveled, via Forts Laramie and Bridger, and Soda Springs; arrived at Bannack, July 4th, 1863. Occupation, merchant. Residence, Butte City.

Isadore had 3 brothers and 2 sisters:
Louis b1843 m. Delia Joseph (NYC)
Herman b.1846
Victor b.1859
Jeannette m. Lewis Sperling (moved to Ithaca, NY)
(?female) married David Horowitz of London, England

I'm particulary interested in any info on the Kiscadian party (anecdotes, history, links, anything!) and Isadore's brothers Victor & Hermann & Louis & his sister - Mrs. David Horowitz - I've also lost the trail of Rachel Cohen (her parents H.M. Cohen & Bina Cohen appear to be connected with SLC Utah but I can't find them.)

Any connections to anyone?
