Thank you very much for the help. John Andrew Ebaugh was my husband's grandfather. I am not familiar with the "Yesteryears" book and would be very interested in anything concerning the Ebaughs.

No, Davilla would not have been a step-daughter, and I don't know of whom they would have been speaking, unless it was Stella Ebaugh. She was born before John Ebaugh and Anna Hansen were married and we were told she was adopted, but that may not be true. The previous marriages of both John and Anna were hidden from the younger family, though I don't know why.
