A biography/family history of James LeNoir is included in "Progressive Men of the State of Montana". Parents: Dr. James & Malinda Lou (Secrist) LeNoir, natives of Alabama & North Carolina, respectively. In the spring of 1892, James LeNoir came to ranch on Beaver Creek about 12 miles east of Malta.
