Yes as T. Kerwin says we need more information from you. Can you be more specific about your question? I suspect there is much information you already know, is that right? Here's a start at identifying the family you may mean. No one with the surname Jarvis is in Havre in the 1910 US census. (Some are in Chocteau, Montana.) This family seems to arrive in Havre later, so maybe you mean someone else. We won't try to research further until we hear from you: Eli Jarvis was born about 1846 in Canada and died 1905 in Havre, Hill, Montana Married Armine Kluka b abt 1850 and died 1917 in Havre, Hill, Montana CHILDREN Alexander Jarvis b 1872 in MN (children Edward, Henry, Joseph, William) (d 1940 in Havre?) Fred Jarvis b 1874 MN (children Andrew, Frank, Joseph, Rose) Harriet “Hattie” Jarvis b 1875 (married Nault??) Mathilde Jarvis b 1877 William George Jarvis b 1881 Josephine Jarvis b 1883 Nellie Jarvis b 1886 1880 Richland, Dakota Territory, USA Eli Jarvis 35, farmer Arniene 29 Alexander 8 b MN Frederick 6 b MN Harriet 4 b MN Matilda 3 b MN 1940 is the latest available US census. Alexander Jarvis is found in the 1940 census in Havre, Montana, living with wife and two sons Edward and William (he is noted as white and they are noted as Native American). So too is a Hattie Christianson Jarvis, age 34 in 1940, married, but living with her parents, no husband present. Notify Administrator about this message?
