Granite County 1917-18, looking for local records

Greetings:
I am a genealogist researching my family history. I am looking for a reference to my great grandfather in:
1) A school yearbook for Granite County School 1917-1918 school year (Philipsburg, Montana)
I haven’t been able to find anyone who has a yearbook from this date.
2) city/county directories for Philipsburg/Granite County for 1917-1919
I haven’t been able to find directories corresponding to these dates.
3) Any other records which may relate to Granite County Schools in 1917-1918
(see the school record I have obtained referenced below)
4) Teachers certificate records for Granite County for 1917-1918
I’ve been in contact with Montana State Archives and apparently these records aren’t in their holdings for Granite County 1917-1918.
If you have any of these specific items, I’d like to know if there is any reference to my great grandfather (Gus Holmberg).
I have been in contact with Granite county Schools, Philipsburg Library, Granite County Courthouse, Montana State Archives, and Granite County Museum & Cultural Center.
If there are any other entities you think I should check with, please let me know directly so I can then contact them.
Thank You,

Jeremy Adam

Additional Background if interested/needed:
I am researching my great grandfather Gustave (Gus) Helmar Holmberg. I believe he was a teacher at the Granite County School in Philipsburg, Montana in 1917-18. I am looking for other records which may pertain to him.

His World War 1 draft registration card (dated June 1917) lists his occupation as “school teacher”, employed by “Granite County Montana, Granite County High School”. I believe he would have been there by himself as this was prior to his marriage in 1923. He was born in Negaunee MI in 1891.

I did find a teacher certificate listing for him in Tekoa, Washington in 1915, so it appears he was in Washington State prior to coming to Granite County. I’ve been in contact with a number of people in Washington State researching his presence there. It appears he was there from 1915-1917.

I have been in contact with Granite County Superintendant of Schools, who told me: “I found a listing of Geo. H. Holmberg teaching at Granite County High School from September 17, 1917 thru March 29, 1918.” This was in a handwritten school record. It’s unclear if Geo. (assuming abbreviated for George) may have meant to be Gus (either recorded incorrectly or hard to read handwriting). Even though the first name may be slightly off/hard to read, given that his first name starts with G, middle initial H, and name Holmberg all match up, I do believe this is a reference to my great grandfather.
