Newspapers back then were not like they are today. All I can tell you is "maybe". It depended if they had the space, who was involved, how serious it was- it may only be a one-line sentence, there may be several stories about it. And because it happened so long ago, many newspapers of that time were destroyed. All you can do it try. Try Laramie and Casper.
