I may have found the Paul Jensen you are seeking. However, I was unable to locate him in Montana in the 1910, 1920 or 1930 census data. However, I did find a Paul Jensen who fits your description in the 1930 census for the state of Washington: WORLD WAR I DRAFT REGISTRATION CARD, 1917: Name: Paul Jensen Address: (illegible), Bellevue County, Seattle, Washington Age: 38 years Birthdate: March 19, 1889 U.S. Citizen? Alien Birthplace: Bergen, Norway If not a citizen, of what country are you a citizen or subject? Norway. Present Occupation: Ship worker Employer: Washington Shipping Company Address: Seattle, King County, Washington Have you a father, mother, wife, child under 12, or a sister or brother under 12, solely dependent on you? No. Marital Status: Single Race: Caucasian Previous Military Service: None Physical Description: 5'6" tall, medium build, brown eyes, dark brown hair. Have you lost an arm, leg, feet or both eyes, or otherwise disabled? No. /s/June 5, 1917 Seattle, King County, Washington --------------- 1930 U.S. Federal Census; Washington; King County; Ravenna Township; Roll: 2491; Page: 8b; Enumeration District: 352; Image: 29.0 (keep in mind that Seattle is the County Seat of King County). JENSEN, Paul; head of household; owns own home valued at $6,000; male; white; 42 years old; married at age 38; born in Norway; both parents born in Norway; immigrated to U.S. in 1906; occupation: boat building--ship building. JENSEN, Ellen L.; wife; female; white; 32 years old; married; married at age 19; born in Illinois; both parents born in Sweden; occupation: none listed. JENSEN, Paul R.; won; male; white; 9 years old; single; born in Washington; father born in Norway; mother born in Illinois. --------------- WASHINGTON DEATH INDEX, 1940-1996: JENSEN, Paul R. Died: 10 Feb 1976 at 55 years of age County of Death: King County, WA Certificate #: 003329 I was unable to find Paul or his wife, Ellen, in the death index, so presumably they died before 1940. There seems to be a discrepancy in age at time of marriage, and this quite likely was an error on the part of the enumerator, as it appears that young Paul was the son of Paul the elder. --------------- I hope you find the above information useful, and that it may help you determine whether or not this is the Paul Jensen you are seeking. I am not related. Notify Administrator about this message?
