Back in the mid-70s, a local historical society compiled a large and comprehensive history of the various pioneer families in Richland County. This material was published in a very large book titled, "Courage Enough, Volume I." Although this book is long out of print, you can contact the Mon-Dak Heritage Center and they will do look-ups. There is a brief mention of the Ole & Serverina Rosaaen family living in Fairview, and another mention of a Hartley & Selmer Rosaaen living in Lane. Although I live several hundred miles west of Sidney, I do have a copy of the book. Ole and Severina are listed as being found on page 332; however, I cannot find them. You can find Hartley and Selmer on page 285, and just mentions that they were settlers in Lane. If you want a look-up, or possible more information about these families if it is available, go to the following Mon-Dak Heritage Center's genealogy site: http://webclass.dawson.edu/mondakheritagecenter/hist_pgs/his_gen.htm I hope you find the above information useful. I am not related. Notify Administrator about this message?
