A search of http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/default.asp yeilded many results for the surname Bina in 1909. Most were from Italy, however two were from Austria/Bohemia. They may provide clues to the origin of the family.
Alois Bina age 28, male. Last residence Brestric Austria. Arrived March 3, 1909 on the ship Kroonland.
Frantisek Bina age 24 male. Last residence Wien Austria. Arrived on the ship Konprinzessin Cecilie, March 16, 1919.
These men may not be related but you may be able to backtrack to the family through them.
