I am looking for more inf. on Jessie Evelyn (Kesterson) she would be my great great grandma born Mar 1880 Tennessee. Her dad was Henry Clay Kesterson and her mom was Mary Jo Smiddy. Jessie had twin siblings Raymond and Beatrice Kesterson born Jun 1889 probably TN.
Jessie married Barstow Hightower 7 Oct 1899 Anderson Co. TN they had only one child Lawrence Millard Hightower born 16 Nov 1900 he died 23 Apr 1978 Michigan.
According to a relative of Myrtle Hightower, Myrtle said Larry is her apparent 1/2 sister and that Jessie separtated or divored from Barstow and Jessie and Larry moved to Montana probably in the 1920's. Myrtle said Jessie moved to Helena Montana and Larry to his horse farm in Butte, Montana. I have a journal of Larry Hightower's 1st wife Corrine (Honnef) Hightower and she wrote about them living in Butte Montana where my grandma was born. She also wrote in 1936 that Larry Hightower had a furlough to visit his folds nearby.
I am trying to find out what happened to Jessie Evelyn (Kesteron) I still have not been able to find a record on her since 1900. She may have re-married in MOntana. I am also trying to find out where she is burried, and if any family living know about her family line and about my great grandfather Larry Hightower, the famous wheelbarrow pusher.
