i am looking for information on my grandfather, benjamin t savage. he was in Montana about 1900. wife was mattie(Martha a) finley, he was supposed to be from NC, she was from flemming, ky. they had 2 kids they left in north carolina, claude s. and elizabeth(bessie). they had 3 kids in montana mary o. died at age 10, alice who married lewis johnston, essex montana, and benj. jr.. they lived in or near harlem montana,and havre, and he died there. Mattie them married george roan, harlem montana, he worked the hiway department. im not sure but i think george was a native american. iwould really like to know more about him as i knew him.
any information that would give me benjamins parents name would be wonderful, and any information about george roan.
