hi everyone, from a sunny County of CHESHIRE, ENGLAND.
THOMAS HEWITT died MONTANA 28 JULY 1910, lNDEX NUMBER 37-0170.
i hoping that this is my g/uncle THOMAS who emigrated to the USA in 1880, the son of JOSHUA and ELLEN HEWITT, born in LIVERPOOL ENGLAND, in 1858.
Is there anyone who could help me please in trying to find any particulars about his death and whether this is my THOMAS.
I dont know whether he married, but a relative of mine
remembers her grandmother getting a letter from someone
saying that THOMAS had been struck by lightening during a storm when baling have for his cattle. she also remembers
that he became the local sheriff and was know as BOSS HEWITT. please im hoping that someone still alive is a member of the family, and anyone who can help me find out about his death certificate which probably will show where
he was born and his fathers name at least. thanks very much for any help. TED.
