Thank you for the reply and the information. I came up with the same information that you did. He worked as a laborer in a smelter in the mining industry in Montana as a young man. His children were born in Idaho and Washington, and it's possible that he worked in the mining industry in those states. On his daughters birth certificate, his occupation is listed as a laborer. I guess its something to think about. Thanks again.
