Slowly, I am piecing together many of my grandfather's Johnston's family (originally from Washington Co., Ohio)which now seems that at least four siblings and my great grandmother ended up in Montana. No wonder I was not finding much in Ohio!
The names I am looking for include:
James William Johnston (have quite a bit including 2 informative obits) teacher, principal, real estate, mercantile, etc.
Alice Deborah Johnston Newman lived around Rosebud. Have a death certificate and an obit. Died 1931
Marth E Johnston Sirrine lived in Carbon Co., Wyoming, and Yellowstone Co. Need an obit. Died Sept 1942 Billings.
Adele (called Della) Johnston and Elizabeth Margaret Johnston who never married. Have no death info on either.
Lavinia McWilliams Johnston, the mother of the above who died at Martha Ella Sirrine's house in 1906 (or 1905). Just received a Republican article about her.
Am willing to share all I have and would love more help, especially on Martha E. (Ellen or Ella) Johnston Sirrine.
