I found some interesting names in the Parmly Billings library's index of the Billings Gazette's vital statistics 1882-1901. Does anyone have access to these archives?
I've hit many brick walls while researching my husband's g-grandmother. Her name was Lillian Anna, with many known and unknown last names. LAWRENCE/LAURENCE, HOWARD and ROCHFORD/ROCKFORD/ROCHFORT were some of these names. She was also known to have been in Wisconsin, Billings and Butte during these times. I'm hoping there might be a new lead in one of these references.
1) Lawrence, Mrs. Mattie April 23, 1892 Marriage Wisconsin Billings Gazette
2) Howard, Ella December 31, 1901 Marriage Billings Billings Gazette
3) Rockford, J.G. April 25, 1887 Obit Butte Billings Gazette
